Dr. Ryan Prosser grew up on his family farm in Central, KS. This is where he developed a strong sense of work ethic and values. While attending Claflin High School, he was active in a wide variety of sports that included football, track, baseball, and golf. After high school, he attended Kansas Wesleyan University for a year to play football before transferring to Fort Hays State University.
There, he finished his bachelor’s in athletic training and worked for KVC Hospitals, a children's psychiatric hospital that specializes in trauma system therapy. Ryan worked with children and teens to help them find their way through trauma, anger, and depression. It was during those 7 years that he was introduced to the incredible benefits of chiropractic care.
Dr. Ryan lives nearby the clinic with his fiancé Maggie and their dog Carl. In their downtime they like to take Carl to the dog park, going to local sporting events, visiting their family’s farms, and hanging out with friends. Ryan and Maggie are looking forward to getting more involved in the community.
Dr. Ryan graduated from Cleveland University, Kansas City with honors. Throughout his time at Cleveland, he was active in multiple national and state organizations. Along with other clubs and classwork, he continued his educational experience by attending several electives and seminars, focusing on functional movement, capacity testing, and rehabilitation.
His certifications include Titleist Performance Institute Medical level 3, Power 2, Fitness 2 and Junior level 2 training, SFMA, FMS, FCS, YBT, and On Base University. These certifications give Dr. Ryan the ability to assess and treat the musculoskeletal system and get you back to doing what matters most.
